Laboratory Overview

Metal complexes consist of metal ions with diverse electronic states and organic ligands that offer high design flexibility. When these two components are appropriately combined and arranged in an ordered manner, integrated metal complexes are expected to exhibit physical properties and functions that surpass those of conventional inorganic or organic materials. In our research, we synthesize metal complexes as fundamental building blocks and organize them effectively in the solid state to explore and develop novel physical properties.
